Return to Hunting
The Lighthouse Return to Hunting Program is lead by a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist who is also a certified hunter safety instructor through the DNR. The instructor will make recommendations on how the client can return to hunting safely, what assistance may be needed, and what adaptive equipment may help. If appropriate the instructor will assist with setting the client up with specialized hunts around the state. This program is appropriate for anyone with a disability who currently possess a hunters safety certificate and who has previous hunting experience.
